Provides significant linear and non-linear processing capabilities with the following functional items:
- Four complete AU devices (in addition to 2 on the MaxPCI motherboard)
- 3x3 grayscale morphology and median filter
- Four 5K x 16-bit and three 300K x 8-bit delay lines
- Two 16x16 LUTs
- Useful for
- 8x8 separable binary and grayscale morphology
- 3x3 arbitrary grayscale morphology
- Blob analysis, color space conversion
- Large area box car (sigma) filters, power functions, normalization filters, etc.
